Christ in me – The Spirit of Glory

“Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: Thou hast enlarged me when I was in distress; Have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭4:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬

David the Psalmist declares that when he was in distress, God enlarged him. So also, when you feel that you are stressed out due to fiery trials, it is then God enlarges you and brings you to rest . Amen !

David didn’t see his God-given-potentiality until he was challenged by Goliath. He knew that God had bestowed upon him the all-conquering -power. But, people saw that power during the great and dreadful encounter with Goliath.
What is the secret of this all-conquering -God’s-ability in him? It’s because David saw God as his righteousness ( T’sidkenu). He believed and confessed that His God who is His righteousness has also made him righteous.
Yes my beloved, God made Jesus to become sin with our sinfulness so that we might become righteous with His righteousness
( 2 Corinthians 5:21). That’s the secret of success!!

When you believe and confess Jesus as your righteousness – your T’sidkenu, you will begin to experience His great love for you and sure confidence shall spring up from within you. You will know that the fiery trials will eventually result in fabulous triumphs. This confidence in you will take the bull by its horn and will conquer giants just the way David conquered Goliath.

Sickness will bow down to you. Depression will vanish away into thin air. People will crown you with their appreciations. All because you truly believed and confessed that Jesus died for your sins and made you righteous forever! Amen 🙏

Christ My Transforming Glory!

“Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction. And Jesus, immediately knowing in Himself that power had gone out of Him, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My clothes?” But the woman, fearing and trembling, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him and told Him the whole truth. And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.””
‭‭Mark‬ ‭5:29-30, 33-34‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The woman with an issue of blood was already healed by touching the Lord Jesus’ hem ( verse 29). However, we find the Lord again pronouncing healing and peace upon her ( verse 34).

It’s one thing to receive healing or miracle and it’s another thing to retain the healing or miracle.
You receive your blessing by connecting with His righteousness , you continue in your blessing when you behold His Glory. The moment she saw Jesus face to face , His blessing remained permanently upon her.

His righteousness connects me with Him. His glory converts me into Him. Hallelujah!

I in Christ ( I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus ) connects me with God, Christ in me converts me ( transforms me) into the same image of Christ. Awesome!

Excellency of Dignity and Power!

“I will be like the dew to Israel; He shall grow like the lily, And lengthen his roots like Lebanon. His branches shall spread; His beauty shall be like an olive tree, And his fragrance like Lebanon.”
‭‭Hosea‬ ‭14:5-6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When you focus on the depth, God ensures the height and the width of your life.
As explained yesterday, the righteous lengthens his roots ( focuses on the depth) by being rooted and grounded in Christ ( Colossians 2:7) and His love ( Ephesians 3:17).
1. Allow the Word ( revelation knowledge) of Christ to richly dwell in you ( Colossians 3:16).
2. Feed on Christ’s unconditional, unmatched and irreversible love for you. Sing songs like “Yes, Jesus loves me “.
3. Declare that the blood of Jesus has forgiven you forever and made you forever righteous.
This will give you a strong base ( stability), resulting in vertical growth (Elevation, stature and name ) and horizontal diversification ( fame spreading across).

When the dew of heaven comes upon your life, three more blessings take place as well :
1. Growth
2. Stability &
3. Prosperity
What is very interesting is that the growth of firstborn is like that of lily.
Lily grows suddenly.
Yes my beloved, expect your elevation suddenly like the lily.
The coming of the Holy Spirit on the day of Pentecost was also sudden .
So also, growth in your life will be swift & sudden when your life is Holy Spirit dependent to the glory of God!

“The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.” Romans‬ ‭8:16-17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

One of the great ministries of the Holy Spirit is to witness that we are the children of God : God is our Abba Father & therefore, we his children have an inheritance which cannot be earned otherwise. We are the heir of God & joint heirs with Christ!

A child is always a child whether he is responsible or not. His behaviour doesn’t deny his birthright. Just like the way a child by birth becomes the citizen of a country, so also when we become born again we inherit God’s wealth. If we suffer during this process for righteousness sake , we are sure that we will be definitely glorified . Amen 🙏

“The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, “What do you seek?” They said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), “where are You staying?””
‭‭John‬ ‭1:37-38‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved, as we come to the end of this month, the above verses came to my mind for our meditation today . In this passage the Lord Jesus asked the two disciples who came to Him what they were seeking for.

Most of us in their place would have replied Him as to what our immediate needs are like finance , promotion , health, marriage ,fruit of the womb, good education etc.
But the disciples asked Him – “ where are you staying ?” They sought His Presence sincerely.

This is awesome ! Knowing Christ was their first and foremost desire. They knew that in this pursuit, all other needs will automatically get fulfilled.

Yes! Let’s seek to know Him more and more. Knowledge Christ is truly your excellence.

“Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes.”
‭‭John‬ ‭9:14‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The Lord Jesus always chose to heal on the day of Sabbath .
Sabbath means rest. God had commanded that the sabbath should be reverentially observed and no work is to be done. The intent of the law needs to be understood more than the very content of the law.

Man receives better when he is restful . For example the word “Rapha” in Hebrew means “healing”. However this word “Rapha”comes from the root word “Raphah”. Now the meaning of this root word “Raphah” is “relax” or it simply means to be restful .

God never contradicts Himself. If Rapha (healing ) comes through Raphah (relaxing ) then it absolutely makes sense why God healed on the sabbath ( rest).
The intent behind His healing on Sabbath was missed out by His critics.

My beloved , before God heals our bodies He heals our worried state of mind. Speaking in tongues brings that tranquility. ( Isaiah 28:11,12).
Have a restful posture throughout & see the miracle in Jesus name . Amen 🙏

‭‭John‬ ‭5:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Neither this man nor God is the author of the delay in the above case.
However, God has full understanding of our desperate condition, long waiting , unfulfilled dreams and it’s agony . And He desires the best , His heart yearns for the fulfillment of dreams to happen.

His compassion led the Lord Jesus to heal the paralysed man in the most unexpected way, on the most unacceptable day.

My beloved , get ready for your long cherished dreams to be fulfilled in the most unlikely way and on the most unexpected day. This is your confidence : His blood has made you righteous forever. You who once were far away but now are made near by the Blood of Jesus . *No weapon fashioned against you shall prosper *! Amen 🙏

Christ’s Glory Our Excellence!

“For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people, To whom He said, “This is the rest with which You may cause the weary to rest,” And, “This is the refreshing”; Yet they would not hear.” Isaiah‬ ‭28:11-12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

If we understand the true benefit of speaking in the heavenly language called “Tongues”, we would never cease to pray.

Tongues is a grace gift that God has given you to help you in the areas of stress, anxiety, worry, panic attacks, physical trouble, and even chronic illness and disease.
Tongues can repair our mortal bodies which perhaps even Medical Science fail to address.

If this is Grace gift, then it is not our works or holiness. When we don’t receive this gift , we simply conclude that may be there is still some sin in our lives or may be God wants me to be patient for the set time hasn’t come. Neither is right . Grace is never based on your merit or demerit. Grace is not how good am I but how good God is. Remember, Christ chose to die when we were still sinners. He didn’t consult us whether we would respond positively. He went ahead to do what is best for us whether we understand or not , whether we acknowledge or not , whether we believe or not . In this , Grace is unconditional and unmerited . It just takes on us to receive what He has achieved .

The greatest basis for us to receive undoubtedly is that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus . Keep confessing this and you will speak in tongues. What I am writing now is tested and proven.

Christ’s Glory Our Excellence!

“Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.”
‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
“Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭16:9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

On the day of Pentecost, the Apostle Peter was giving his apologetics on the coming of the Holy Spirit to be with us forever and also the blessing of the most precious gift in our lives – speaking in tongues. God has given us this powerful prayer language called Tongues which is our glory!
It is notably very interesting to understand how he quotes Psalm 16:9 to define “Glory” as “Tongues”. ( compare both the quotations above). “Glory” in the Old Testament meant excellence, fame , majesty , popularity and even riches.

Jesus our Lord , through his gruesome death at the Cross of Calvary, crossed out all our sins and declared us righteous forever. He rose again & entered Heaven being glorified to sit at the Right Hand of the Father & poured out the Holy Spirit to glorify us.
Speaking in tongues is the gift of the Holy Spirit given to every believer who believes that all his sins are forgiven and therefore he is the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
My beloved , this week, let us dedicate ourselves to speak in tongues as often as we can . As we speak this God given heavenly language called “Tongues”, God will ensure great glory upon our lives.
He has already arranged a glorious comeback to every setback you have encountered in the past.
