Grace for you today !
God who rewards you !!

“If your enemy is hungry, give him bread to eat; And if he is thirsty, give him water to drink; For so you will heap coals of fire on his head, And the LORD will reward you.” Proverbs‬ ‭25:21-22‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Let’s look at the above verses –
if the Lord promises to reward every one who shows compassion to his/ her own enemies , it is very obvious that He has deep love for the enemies too.

The Lord Jesus perfectly demonstrated this . He loved the sinners ( even though He hated sin)so much that He willingly accepted the most gruesome death on the Cross to save them.That was His love toward mankind, even the worst of sinners .

My beloved , it takes grace to love our enemies and care for them . This again goes to prove that God gives grace that enables us to love the enemies and when we receive and apply His Grace , He rewards us too! God rewards our faith !!Glorious Lord Jesus !!!

God who rewards you !!

“Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭10:35‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

My beloved , as we begin this week , let me encourage you saying that your confidence in Christ has a great reward . As I told you in the beginning , this month you will experience God’s reward- His exceedingly great reward!
The author of the book of Hebrews encourages us not to cast away our confidence which has a great reward.

What is our confidence ?
Our confidence is that we are made Righteous by the blood of Jesus . His (Jesus’) obedience to the Father constituted us righteous, who believe in Him. This is the confidence that has a great reward .
God rewards your faith ( confidence).
*During trying times , hold on to your confession that Jesus is your righteousness. *
This week , expect His exceedingly great reward in your life in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord . Amen 🙏

God who rewards you !!

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

What pleases God is our faith toward Him . Faith is the result of receiving His Grace .
That ‘s the reason it is written that he who comes to God must come receiving Him who is gracious. And He also rewards those who receive grace and apply grace in his / her life.
He is the author, He is the finisher & also the rewarder.

My beloved , as we end this week , let’s come boldly to Him for He is Gracious and also a Rewarder , willing to always bless us.

God who rewards you !!

“After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.””
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭15:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

God is both our Protection and our Reward . As a shield, He protects us from everything that is harmful .

Abram ( Abraham ) was very fearful & his hope is his God started to fade away during his long waiting . Fear is the direct result of hopelessness . And the first needed assurance for a man who fears is the promise of protection . Abraham was in a alien land with no one to encourage him . He trusted God and left his home country . He was around 86 years of age & yet didn’t have a child.
Everything looked bleak & discouraging and he was fear struck .
Fear is a tangible experience that can paralyse a human being from thinking rationally yet he often imagines the most remote possibility of evil that may likely happen .
During such times, God’s word of assurance of protection comes like a beckoning light to deliver man from hopelessness . Next comes His assurance of a sure reward which lifts the person from rock bottom to mountain top!
Jesus who is the Anchor of our soul , will lift you and cause you to soar on high very soon .
Therefore watch & be in eager expectation , for your Great Rewarder is at hand ! His reward is with Him!! Your hope in Him will never disappoint!!! Amen 🙏

God who rewards you !!

“For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭6:10‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Grace enables you to do His good pleasure. God never forgets what you have done by His Grace . He will surely reward you ! Hallelujah!!

He keeps a complete record of all the good works you did in the past. His reward comes with cumulative effect (with compound interest)

I recollect my own testimony. Years back (almost 29 years) when I came to Nigeria the first time, I fell sick and was found to be with the dreaded disease condition – Malaria combined with Typhoid. I couldn’t eat at all & was all alone , no one to help & was totally emaciated. During my absence from work due to illness , I became the talk of the town because of my faith in God . I was mocked, ridiculed and was victimized by dirty politics at work. Lo and behold , Jesus showed up and lifted me from my doldrums by promoting me overnight. I was promoted to a far better living condition ( was given a steward who could cook the food of my choice , was provided with a chauffeur driven car and an independent spacious bungalow which was a great luxury for a bachelor)
Today this same Jesus can turn your pitiful plight into a delightful sight by causing you to scale the greatest height, beyond your imagination.
My beloved, Be of good cheer! It’s your time & season now!! You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.🙏🏽

God who rewards you !!

“The LORD repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the LORD God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.””
‭‭Ruth‬ ‭2:12‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

A reward is different from a gift. Gift is willingly given to someone without payment. But, a reward is a thing given to someone for their efforts, services or achievements.

In the above verse, the Lord God promises repayment for the work & a full reward to His children who have put their trust in Him & come under His wings for refuge.

This month stay assured as the Lord Jesus is rewarding all your efforts in the kingdom, in your family, in your job where you were faithful even though you went unrecognized. God keeps a perfect record of your faithfulness & labor of love. Now is your payday & your time to receive your reward from God Almighty.

As you keep confessing that you’re the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus, you will receive your full reward in every area of your life ( Isaiah 40:10)

God’s abounding Grace and Peace!!

“Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:14, 16‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Your prayers can be bold when you know that God evaluates the High Priest in order to bless you . On the other hand, when we look at our shortcomings, we feel condemned and have no confidence in our prayer . God doesn’t look at you to bless you rather He sees the perfect standing of the High Priest to bless you .

That is why the author, encourages you to come BOLDLY to the throne of Grace . Wow!
So then, I need not be worried about my failures & shortcomings, for He will always bless me according to my High Priest – the Lord Jesus.

Secondly, we are advised to hold fast our confession . *So keep saying that you are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus* . Surely you will experience the unheard and untold blessing in Jesus’ Name! Amen 🙏

God’s abounding Grace and Peace!!

“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭4:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Lord Jesus our High Priest became a man to feel like us , to empathise with us since He was tempted in all points just the way we are tempted . He is fully acquainted with every struggle , every pain , every disappointment & every betrayal of us . Yet He did not sin.

Today , He appears before God as our Representative . God sees the High Priest who is our Lord Jesus Christ , who was tempted in every aspect of life and yet without sin. As a result , the High Priest is accepted and the we are blessed (irrespective of our failure). Praise Jesus 🙏

God’s abounding Grace and Peace!!

“nor do you consider that it is expedient for us that one man ( Jesus ) should die for the people, and not that the whole nation should perish.” Now this he did not say on his own authority; but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus would die for the nation, and not for that nation only, but also that He would gather together in one the children of God who were scattered abroad.”
‭‭John‬ ‭11:50-52‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Here is an awesome truth! Caiaphas being the High Priest during the days when Jesus walked on the earth , prophesied that Jesus would die for the entire nation and all other nations so that all nations can be blessed .

The Lord Jesus not only died as the Lamb of God for all nations but also He rose from the dead to appear before God as our High Priest today.
In the sight of God, if the High Priest is acceptable then the whole nation is acceptable .

God doesn’t look at us in order to bless us but He looks at Jesus our High Priest and blesses us irrespective of who we are or what we have done. This is an awesome truth and it takes humility to accept the evaluation of God.

Every nation, community, city, family and individual, whoever accepts the High Priesthood of Jesus Christ will surely experience blessings beyond expectation . Amen 🙏

God’s abounding Grace and Peace!!

“For every high priest taken from among men is appointed for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭5:1‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The High Priest is the one who is chosen from the tribe of Levi, who stands on behalf of the children of Israel before God. This was the ordinance of God instructed through Moses.

Even so , the Lord Jesus Christ became a human so that He could be qualified to become the High Priest now, for all of us irrespective of caste , creed , color , community or country . *The role of the High Priest is to make sure that we are protected from every form of evil, blessing abundantly and our prayers are answered beyond our expectation *.

When we accept the Lord Jesus as our High Priest, who appears before God with the sacrifice of Himself – the Lamb (as us and for us ), we become the direct recipient of every blessing .

With this understanding, we need to confess that we are the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus to see tangible results in our lives and the lives of our loved ones . Amen🙏.
