Grace for you today !
God who rewards you !!
“After these things the word of the LORD came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.””
Genesis 15:1 NKJV
God is both our Protection and our Reward . As a shield, He protects us from everything that is harmful .
Abram ( Abraham ) was very fearful & his hope is his God started to fade away during his long waiting . Fear is the direct result of hopelessness . And the first needed assurance for a man who fears is the promise of protection . Abraham was in a alien land with no one to encourage him . He trusted God and left his home country . He was around 86 years of age & yet didn’t have a child.
Everything looked bleak & discouraging and he was fear struck .
Fear is a tangible experience that can paralyse a human being from thinking rationally yet he often imagines the most remote possibility of evil that may likely happen .
During such times, God’s word of assurance of protection comes like a beckoning light to deliver man from hopelessness . Next comes His assurance of a sure reward which lifts the person from rock bottom to mountain top!
Jesus who is the Anchor of our soul , will lift you and cause you to soar on high very soon .
Therefore watch & be in eager expectation , for your Great Rewarder is at hand ! His reward is with Him!! Your hope in Him will never disappoint!!! Amen 🙏
