Grace for you today !
Christ your Glory !!
“…And those of the circumcision who believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. For they heard them speak with tongues and magnify God.”
Acts 10:44-46 NKJV
This is the first instance where we find that the blessings of the Only God is also meant for the gentiles. ( Gentiles means those who are not Jews. This includes every one in the whole world except the Jews). The Jews were the chosen of the Lord and mentioned throughout the Old Testament period , starting from Genesis chapter 12.
Peter and other believing Jews who accompanied him were spell bound when they saw and heard how the gentiles were equally and unconditionally blessed just like the believing Jews, as the Lord poured out His Holy Spirit.
What a glorious moment ! God who is impartial , who loves all mankind, who without prejudice gave His only begotten Son Jesus, also poured out His Holy Spirit on us the gentiles. We are no longer 2nd class citizens rather heir of God & co-heirs with Christ . This is what is written by Apostle Paul : “To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians 1:27 .
Christ in you is all that matters ! He is the Hope of Glory ! Christ your Glory! Amen 🙏
