Walking in Glory!
“Then Sarai said to Abram, “My wrong be upon you! I gave my maid into your embrace; and when she saw that she had conceived, I became despised in her eyes. The Lord judge between you and me.””
Genesis 16:5 NKJV
God’s plan & purpose for Abraham was Isaac through Sarah.
But, Ishmael was Plan B designed by Sarah and Abraham using the means of Hagar as they were childless & well advanced in age.
Man always loves to have a Plan B as a standby, should Plan A fail. This is a Management Philosophy!
You may ask, “Is that wrong?” As long as you are led by your own understanding, it may help you for the present time. You may be able to address the present burning issue. However, God has ONLY one plan, although He doesn’t despise if man chooses otherwise with his own mindset . God & His word can never fail!
The working out His perfect plan can be best seen in the life of the Lord Jesus Christ, right from the announcement of His birth till He gave His life at the Cross, by complete submission to God .
It may sound very foolish to say that God’s guidance can even lead someone to die, let alone a gruesome death on the cross . “For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” I Corinthians 1:18.
“Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.” I Corinthians 1:25
Yes my beloved , you may not see the immediate desired result, but you will experience His permanent glory when He runs the affairs of your life, guiding you in the path of Righteousness . Always His plan is the Best & the most perfect choice that you will never regret ! Amen 🙏
