Jesus Your Defence and Excellence!
“Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:”
Psalms 103:1-2 NKJV
Years back, the Holy Spirit spoke to me saying that man is primarily a spirit. Here the Psalmist ( the spirit of David ) addresses his soul to praise God.
Man is a spirit, who has a soul, living in a body.
The real you is the spirit & You have a soul that consists of mind ( to think / analyze ) , emotion ( to feel) and will (to decide).
When you receive Jesus as your Lord, your spirit comes alive and is connected with God through the Holy Spirit 24*7. What a joy !
This consciousness of you being a spirit can change your own personality radically, to walk with God, by having a continual relationship with Him. It causes the decision making process simple and easy to execute.
My beloved, believe and confess saying, “I am a spirit and I am the Righteousness of God in Christ Jesus”. Your continuous confession will lead you to experience unspeakable inner joy and a surge of fresh breath of the spirit.
