Christ My Glory!

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith, as you have been taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving.” Colossians‬ ‭2:6-7‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Our first experience with God sometimes takes a back seat in our daily walk with Him . When we first time received Jesus in our heart , we would have experienced bubbling joy and peace surpassing beyond human understanding. Miracles and healings would have been a normal thing. Our prayer life would been so sweet . Instant answers from God and many other blessings would have followed with ease.
But as time goes by, we would have felt God a million miles away – promises not getting fulfilled , struggling to hear God, going through stress, feeling hopeless etc .would have made you wonder that the honeymoon with God is perhaps over .

My beloved, Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.He is still the same. The same loving God still loves you , longs to speak with you , performs miracles and heals your body . Yes, He is just the same & unchanging Jesus!

The question is simple , “Are we continuing to receive the super abounding grace just the way we received it in the beginning ?” “ Are we receiving the gift of righteousness every day just like the way we received Jesus as the Lord and Saviour the first time ?”

What does Apostle Paul say? “As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him…”.
As a discipline keep receiving the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness several times each day. Keep declaring that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus as often as possible every day.
That’s the secret ! Amen 🙏

II Corinthians‬ ‭9:15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

When the world is seeking God through various forms of good deeds and believes in multiple rebirths to become one with God, not knowing when it will happen and this pursuit goes on endlessly, God Himself sent His only begotten Son into this world not only to be with man but much more now, to dwell in man.

Jesus is truly God’s indescribable gift to mankind. He is God’s Grace personified who came seeking us to reside in us in this life.

What a glorious life to experience God in us who would speak with us , share His concerns , direct our paths with precision and teaches us to our profit ! Hallelujah!! This is beyond words & truly indescribable. No wonder it is indescribable for He is God ! How can we describe Him who is infinite?! Yet we can experience Him progressively – Christ in us and through us . Amen 🙏

“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We see two contrasting actions, producing two contrasting results.
The first one Adam committed (doing), resulting in death reigning. However, those who receive ( God’s abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness) empowers himself to reign in life all because of Jesus’s right doing. Amen 🙏 Hallelujah!

What Adam committed was by eating of the forbidden fruit that resulted in guilt, sickness and death. Today, we too eat a piece of the broken bread that signifies the body of Jesus that was broken for us at the Cross ( partaking in communion). This results in great joy of being fully acquitted and accepted by God which is unspeakable joy full of glory, health, wellbeing and eternal life.

My beloved, keep receiving by confessing that God has declared you as righteous in Christ Jesus.
Also, whenever you partake in communion, believe that His body and yours have become one – you in Christ and Christ in you. What a glorious experience forever ! Amen 🙏

“IN RECEIVING YOU REIGN!”
Yes, my beloved, Mary kept receiving . Receiving should be our primary posture/ attitude & we need to keep receiving .
Receiving what ?
1. Abundance of Grace
2. Gift of Righteousness
Let me focus on the second – the gift of righteousness.
Righteousness in other words means “clearance from all guilt “. Rephrasing it in this context – “ Gift of clearance from all guilt”.
Nothing is more damaging than the feeling of guilt & the feeling of unacceptability. When Adam sinned ,he was first of all tormented by the feeling of guilt. Therefore , God sent His Son Jesus to take away all guilt and the punishment of sin of the whole human race upon Jesus . No matter how dark your background or strong your belief system, the Truth is that Jesus bore all your sins and has given you the free gift of righteousness . You are completely forgiven & have the clearance from all guilt.

Therefore, nothing in this world can paralyse you as long as you keep receiving this gift of righteousness. This is a gift and hence you don’t work for it. You simply confess ( continuously) saying , “I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS”.

By this, the sense of disqualification will give way to the sense of qualification. The sense of rejection will give way to the sense of acceptance and confidence. Your sorrows will be turned into joy, distress into rest, sickness into health, poverty into prosperity, defeat into success. Truly , in receiving ( continuously and especially when things go wrong) this gift of righteousness you reign in this present life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen 🙏

“And Jesus answered and said to her, “Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many things. But one thing is needed, and Mary has chosen that good part, which will not be taken away from her.” Luke‬ ‭10:41-42‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus had come to the house of the sisters in Bethany, Martha and Mary. Compare this to a life of Christ in you ( dwelling in your heart ), because in the New Testament, our body is house (temple) of God. Seeing from this perspective-
Did both Martha and Mary have Jesus dwelling in their hearts ? Yes
Was Jesus partial ? No
But, did both enjoy the blissful and ever- secured experience in Christ ? No
Why ?
Because, one ( Mary) practised ( treasured ) His Presence while the other ( Martha ) didn’t .
You may ask me, How can you say that?
In fact, it should be the other way around. Martha was serving God wholeheartedly, whereas Mary was just sitting and listening at the feet of Jesus .
My beloved, it is important to serve God . By this we express our love for God. But, it is much more important to feed ourselves with God’s love for us .
Without necessary input from Him, our output for Him can only drain us spiritually and exhaust us mentally to the point we complain like Martha. Feed yourself with His unconditional love for you every morning. Allow Jesus to FIRST FEED you.
IN RECEIVING YOU REIGN.
Think of His Love that was demonstrated full blast on the Calvary’s Cross. By this you are practicing His Presence which is Christ in you & receive the Glorious life you had imagined & hoped for . Amen 🙏

“And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. So the men marveled, saying, “Who can this be, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭8:24-27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus Christ was in the boat that was tossed by the great tempest which threatened
to capsize the boat that was covered with the raging waves. The disciples were greatly perturbed because they lacked understanding of the One who was with them. They saw their problem greater than the problem Solver Himself who was with them in their very boat . This is clearly evident from their oscillating views before and after Christ’s intervention.

My beloved , if you are a child of God then Christ dwells in you . It takes a revelation of who Christ in you is. With Christ in the vessel you can smile at the storm !
When you see His Presence in you , you will witness His Glory through you! Hallelujah! Amen 🙏

“And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, make haste and come down, for today I must stay at your house.” Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold.””. Luke‬ ‭19:5, 8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Zacchaeus was a rogue who made a living at others cost & their hard earned money. This is obvious from his own confession as mentioned above.
However, when Zacchaeus saw Jesus, His righteousness, His kindness ( unmerited favor) and His willingness to make His abode in Zacchaeus’s house, led Zacchaeus to repentance & he counted this blessing of God far greater than all the wealth that he had amassed through unscrupulous & unrighteous ways. This prompted him to say that he would restore four times of what he stole and would give 50% of his total wealth to help the poor. This 360 degrees transformation is possible only by God & the revelation of His goodness!

What is still more beautiful & awesome is that God never told him to repent nor to do restitution and yet , Zacchaeus took the call himself. God’s goodness led him to repentance. Hallelujah!

My beloved, we don’t need a fresh faith to be blessed rather what we need is a fresh understanding of His Righteousness and His unmerited favor to see ( perceive ) beyond our natural thinking and reasoning. This fresh understanding (revelation) is given only by the Holy Spirit of God to everyone who asks Him.
Let’s ask Him this morning, “God my Father please give me a fresh understanding of Jesus’ Righteousness and His favor ( Grace) by Your Blessed Holy Spirit.”
And confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ and Christ lives in me.” Amen 🙏

“It shall come to pass in that day That his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, And his yoke from your neck, And the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.” Isaiah‬ ‭10:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Christ means ‘the Anointed One’ Every yoke of the devil is destroyed and the burden rolled away because of the ‘Anointed One’ who dwells in me. Hallelujah!
Just like a robe coming in touch with fire is burnt or destroyed, so also fear , worries of life, oppression, sickness of any kind are completely destroyed when you realise and confess Christ in you. Jesus Christ consciousness rolls away burdens & worries of tomorrow.

Once I was conducting a prayer meeting among the slum dwellers, who were in all sorts of bondages. The Holy Spirit prompted me to say “Jesus “. I began to speak ‘Jesus is in you’ Suddenly , an awesome anointing came and delivered all of them who were gathered there. Hallelujah!

My beloved child of God, just believe and speak, “Christ in me” and you will experience His awesome power, liberating you. This is because God has made you righteous. Amen 🙏

“To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” Colossians‬ ‭1:27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Jesus Christ came as Immanuel – God with us at His birth and God in us at His death and resurrection. Hallelujah!

It is indeed a great blessing when we realise that God is with us. Yet, it is still a greater blessing when we realise that God is in us. Do you acknowledge this great life changing truth ?
Oh! Blessed Holy Spirit, please cause us to comprehend this great & glorious truth.

Recently , I was asking the Holy Spirit, “How do we know that Christ is dwelling in us when we are born again ?” He answered and said , “ Do you see your lungs ? Yet you breathe… Do you physically feel your pancreas? Yet, it functions. Correct ? That’s exactly how the born again spirit ( Christ in you ) functions.

My beloved, the Creator of the universe dwells in you . He can recreate or restore organs that are not functioning or not present there to function . Amen 🙏

I know a brother and a preacher whom God used awesomely in India. The doctors had removed his wife’s uterus due to some condition. After this ,both of them received Jesus in their hearts . The Lord came to dwell in them. Lo and behold, a miracle happened ! Guess what ? His wife conceived and gave birth to a bouncy baby. The doctors & the medical science got baffled beyond measure .
Christ in her made her a mother of a child, a glorious miracle! You too can experience the same creative power of Christ! Amen 🙏

“the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
Colossians‬ ‭1:26-27‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Christ in you was a mystery which was hidden from all ages in the past. This you will not even find in the Old Testament.

The Old Testament prophesied Christ’s virgin birth, His miracle ministry, His death on the cross, His resurrection, His present position at the right hand of the Father and His return, which will take place any time NOW!
Hallelujah!

But Christ dwelling in us was not revealed then. When we receive God’s greatest gift His precious Son to mankind in our hearts, Jesus Christ makes His abode in us. Our lives are transformed instantly.
A new innings begin where we will always remain Not Out ! Hallelujah!!

My beloved, there is no greater bliss nor any greater blessing than Christ’s indwelling Presence in us! He made us righteous by His own blood so that He can dwell in us.

What brings the greatest joy to the heart of God is when you receive Christ in your heart and confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Amen 🙏
