Christ My Glory!
“For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)”
Romans 5:17 NKJV
“IN RECEIVING YOU REIGN!”
Yes, my beloved, Mary kept receiving . Receiving should be our primary posture/ attitude & we need to keep receiving .
Receiving what ?
1. Abundance of Grace
2. Gift of Righteousness
Let me focus on the second – the gift of righteousness.
Righteousness in other words means “clearance from all guilt “. Rephrasing it in this context – “ Gift of clearance from all guilt”.
Nothing is more damaging than the feeling of guilt & the feeling of unacceptability. When Adam sinned ,he was first of all tormented by the feeling of guilt. Therefore , God sent His Son Jesus to take away all guilt and the punishment of sin of the whole human race upon Jesus . No matter how dark your background or strong your belief system, the Truth is that Jesus bore all your sins and has given you the free gift of righteousness . You are completely forgiven & have the clearance from all guilt.
Therefore, nothing in this world can paralyse you as long as you keep receiving this gift of righteousness. This is a gift and hence you don’t work for it. You simply confess ( continuously) saying , “I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN CHRIST JESUS”.
By this, the sense of disqualification will give way to the sense of qualification. The sense of rejection will give way to the sense of acceptance and confidence. Your sorrows will be turned into joy, distress into rest, sickness into health, poverty into prosperity, defeat into success. Truly , in receiving ( continuously and especially when things go wrong) this gift of righteousness you reign in this present life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen 🙏
