“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,” ‭‭Jude‬ ‭1:20‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Praying in the Holy Spirit means praying in tongues.

Tongues is a weapon from God, a powerful instrument made in heaven, that has many wonderful benefits. One has to experience it to really appreciate its blessedness. One of them is that you can build yourselves up on your most holy faith by praying in tongues.

When you go through depression or disappointments, heart aches or failure, speaking in tongues will amazingly lift you up. You will experience the gloom & frustration disappear like smoke and instead joy and peace will flood your sun scorched life.

Spend time praying in tongues even if it is for just 15 minutes. You will definitely see your sorrow turned into joy. Hallelujah! Amen 🙏

“Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? Cretans and Arabs—we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭2:7-8, 11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The reason that God gave the law is that man should come to the point of realization that he is a sinner & needs a Savior!

If our sinning is not in our deeds, then definitely in our hearts and minds. But the Good News is that even though we all have sinned, God still loves us. He demonstrated His love for us by giving us His Son to die for us while we were yet sinners.

Under the New Covenant , when God gave the Spirit and the gift of tongues, the emphasis is no longer on how bad man is but its on how good God is.

The grace gift of Tongues glorifies God & speaks how good God is . Also when you speak in tongues, you apply grace in every area that is a matter of concern. “The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, ….” Proverbs‬ ‭10:32‬. This is possible when you confess that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus and speak in tongues. Amen 🙏
