Grace for you today !
Behold Jesus the Bread of Life and experience His immeasurable depth of Love!
“And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.” Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.” And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.”” Luke 23:41-43 NKJV
Blessed Good Friday my beloved friend!
Every time I go through this passage of the Bible, tears flow down my eyes, marvelling at His Love !
This hard core criminal was suffering the punishment he deserved, for he himself confesses saying, “we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds”.
But, in the court of Justice of God’s kingdom, there is mercy always even at the point of death , yeah the death of the Cross because the same criminal prays to Jesus saying, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom”.
We see an amazing faith of this criminal . You may wonder where is this man’s faith ?
Yes my beloved ! It is truly an amazing faith because he prayed to the One who wasn’t oozing with God’s power just like when He walked on the face of the earth, who wasn’t seen seated in His Throne at that point but rather was hanging on the Cross just like the criminals & yet without any crime.
My beloved, remember this one thing :
Good Friday is the message of the depth of God’s love that stoops to the lowest of all mankind to rescue him because His love is deeper than the most treacherous act of man.
It just takes a whisper from you “JESUS”, in order to receive this great immeasurable depth of His Love. Amen 🙏
