Grace for you today !
Behold Jesus the Lamb and be enlightened!
Now when she ( Mary) had said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, and did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” She, supposing Him to be the gardener, said to Him, “Sir, if You have carried Him away, tell me where You have laid Him, and I will take Him away.”John 20:14-15 NKJV
Mary saw Jesus but she did not know that it was Jesus. If this was her experience, it can very much be ours as well even today. But, God is impartial and unbiased to reveal Himself to everyone who seeks Him. We fail miserably to recognize Him often times.
I wonder as to how many times Jesus would have appeared to us in our everyday walk on this earth, where we would have been oblivious, lost in our own world where the cares of life , deceitfulness of riches and desire for other things eclipse both the Blesser and the blessing.
Mary sought Jesus and she saw Jesus and still did not know it was Jesus. We too may be seeking for a blessing and see the blessing we sought for and yet not know what we are seeing is our own blessing. What else can be more pitiful?
Prayer : Holy Father, I pray that you grant me the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus the Lamb so that my spiritual eyes of understanding be enlightened to see my blessing which is already before me in Jesus name. Amen 🙏
