Grace for you today !
Christ in me – God’s set time for my glory !
“You will arise and have mercy on Zion; For the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come.” Psalms 102:13 NKJV
Time is generally defined in the Greek as “Chronos” and “Kairos”.
Chronos (Time) represents a chronological time that is calculated in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries and millennia. This is our normal life cycle.
Whereas, Kairos (Set Time) represents a God-appointed time when something is to occur. It is divine intervention in your life, to accelerate the process on your behalf. It is unplanned, unexpected and unscheduled when God decides to bless you or favour you.
The preacher in Ecclesiastes 1:9-10 says, “That which has been is what will be, That which is done is what will be done, And there is nothing new under the sun. Is there anything of which it may be said, “See, this is new?” It has already been in ancient times before us.” This is the voice of every human being who has been caught in “chronos” cycle of life, which in its monotony and tiredness, eventually leads to frustration and hopelessness.
In such times, God steps into this life cycle of man that was actually meant for good, but is sadly drawn away from God because of self dependency. His stepping in is to set you up and to loose you from the vicious cycle that has taken away the joy of your life.
Of all the visitations of God, the most unique, the most powerful and the most God defining moment was, when Jesus stepped into the lives of mankind on earth. He has given a new meaning to life on earth for every human being. His Presence in us brings wholeness and fulfilment of our dreams & desires. Hallelujah!
My beloved, today is your God moment ! His set time to favour you has come !! His favour is the intersection of His Set time ( kairos ) upon your present time ( Chronos). This is the day! Amen 🙏
