“For with stammering lips and another tongue He will speak to this people,”
Isaiah 28:11 NKJV
This is the prophecy through the Prophet Isaiah regarding speaking in tongues – the heavenly language .
Here the Prophet reveals a startling revelation that God who in times past , spoke through His chosen prophets , will speak directly to each one of His children now . How ? “With stammering lips and another tongue “. What is that ? That’s the Gift of speaking in tongues …..the language given by the Holy Spirit to every believer who believes in the finished work of the Lord Jesus . Yes, the Lord Jesus paid the price by shedding His precious blood for the sins of the whole world that includes you and me .
Dear beloved of the Lord , when you confess, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ
Jesus “ , you are declaring that you believe in Christ’s sacrificial death for you and as you . This is the ONLY PREREQUISITE to receive the Gift of speaking in tongues.
Can you imagine !? God Almighty, uses our own tongue to put His words & speaks to us directly ! This is simply awesome!!
