“When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”
Acts 2:1, 4 NKJV
The Pentecost was one of the seven feasts of the Israel . It is the 50th day from the day of resurrection.
The first Pentecost took place at Mt. Sinai when the children of Israel received the 10 commandments ( which is called the Law) through Moses.
However , this Pentecost ( Acts 2 ) ushered in the most precious gift of the Lord Jesus – The Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit was sent NOT to give a new set of rules BUT to give a new tongue , a new language . This divine language is to speak forth just like the way God speaks . A language to bless and not to curse . A language that can bring into existence ( reality) what you wish to see– Health , prosperity , well being, peace, restoration and so on
My beloved , keep declaring that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Thereby, receive the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues ( The God given heavenly language ).
