Growing in Grace unto Excellence !
“The two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus. Then Jesus turned, and seeing them following, said to them, “What do you seek?” They said to Him, “Rabbi” (which is to say, when translated, Teacher), “where are You staying?””
John 1:37-38 NKJV
This is a marvellous passage. Each of us have a desire in life and seek after it. These two disciples had a desire too and sought after it , which is the dwelling place of God .
Today, we know that God dwells in the inside of us. These disciples desired to have a close intimacy with Jesus & therefore sought to know His dwelling place. They longed to have the sensitivity to hear the voice of God .
Today, we are washed by the blood of Jesus and are declared righteous. As a result God dwells in our hearts. What we need to aspire is to be sensitive to the voice of God who dwells in our hearts.
Let’s seek Him to hear Him. Amen 🙏
