Excellency of Dignity and Power!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.” II Corinthians 5:17
As I told you before, if you believe that God raised Jesus from the dead, you are a new creation! Now, in the original Greek the above verse is written as follows :
Therefore, if anyone in Christ,a new creation! old things have passed away; Behold! all things have become new.
If you notice carefully, there is no gender specification which means that it applies to ALL who believe.
Secondly, there are two exclamation marks – sounding amazement & expressing something very real, tangible and beyond human expectation .
Yes my beloved, the outward manifestation of the New Creation will make the world reel in wonder & amazement!
We see this happen for the first time in the upper room when the Holy Spirit came upon the 120 believers on the day of the Pentecost. (“So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” Acts 2:12 )
Again it repeated in the next chapter when a man who was conceived lame in his mother’s womb, began to walk instantly (“Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.” Acts 3:10).
Proclaim your New Identity, “I am a New Creation & old things have passed away” Let the world see the NEW YOU and be in wonder & amazement to the glory of Jesus! Amen 🙏
