“And suddenly a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves. But He was asleep. Then His disciples came to Him and awoke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” But He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.”
Matthew 8:24-26 NKJV
This is a perfect example of how God gives His beloved sleep . During His days on earth, Jesus as a human being like us, walked restful , worked restful and slept restful.
The boisterous wind could not wake Him, the raging sea had no impact on Him . But the desperate cry of His children woke Him up. What a loving Saviour our Lord Jesus!
Just imagine….how could the voices of His children be heard in the midst of boisterous wind and noisy raging waves ? But Jesus heard & He still hears! Yes, He hears your cry !!
When things go overboard and seem beyond our control….even the coronavirus, JESUS SAVES! HE STILL REIGNS!!
He silences every noise & gives you poise. He has finished the work on the Cross . We just need to embrace Jesus ( the Grace ) and His righteous acts in our stead. He has made us righteous!
Allow Him to Pilot your life boat and you will surely sail through life’s journey with ease .
