And finding some disciples he said to them, “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?” So they said to him, “We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit.” Acts 19:1-2 NKJV
My beloved , as we begin this new week, let us declare this week as the Week of the Holy Spirit as we are approaching Pentecost Sunday.
Holy Spirit is the third Person in the God Head. He is God Himself.
Holy Spirit is the one most cherished by God the Father and God the Son. He is the Promise of the Father given to all mankind because Jesus our Lord paid the price when He died for the sins of the entire mankind.
Today, Holy Spirit represents God on earth and loves to dwell in the inside of all who believe.
Believe what ? That Jesus died for my sins. He was buried and on the third day God raised Jesus from the dead, declared Jesus both the Christ and the Son of the Living God. This is the Gospel. When we believe and accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we receive the greatest Gift – the Holy Spirit.
Do you believe this ? When you believe, you receive. Amen 🙏
