Christ in me – the Fulness of God !
“Delight yourself also in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.”
Psalms 37:4 NKJV
God puts His desires in us when we receive His gift for us.
We all love to receive gifts and God’s indescribable gift to mankind is Jesus.
Jesus came not only to be with us but also to be in us! Hallelujah!!
This is the greatest gift that any person can have in his/her life : The Gift of righteousness!
When we willingly receive Him and His Gift of righteousness, we are delighting in the Lord and His desires become ours.
Sooner or later , you will begin to experience a longing to become what He has created you for. That’s God’s desire which has become our desire!
But, there are other desires that we wish not to have , although it may give a temporary pleasure but later on causes guilt and condemnation. We wish to get rid of them .We try to avoid these but many a times struggle with them unsuccessfully.
My beloved, the best way to do away with darkness is to have light in us . The light itself will dispel all darkness. So also, when we receive Jesus as our Righteousness (T’sidkenu), which is God’s free gift to all mankind, we will experience not only unhealthy & unwanted desires leaving us, but also receive an instant, intense ( God’s) desire that will lead us to our God-designed- destiny in Jesus name . Amen 🙏
